Thank you so much for letting us stay in your well appointed studio whilst we restore our own house in Clamecy. It has a wonderful feel to it as you have made it both spacious and cosy and also very comfortable. A lovely spot and so close to many other interesting places to visit especially by the leafy back roads. The fete du St. Cochon pig roast by the river was an amazing event along with firework display and the lantern procession around the village at midnight!

We travelled all over during our stay and where did we like most? Lucy! 
It encapsulates rural France, tranquillity, full of character and totally unspoilt.

Unwittingly we arrived on a public holiday with all the shops closed so we were

Thank you so much for opening up your cottage and your way of life to us to share.
The house is so well equipped and with so much room we nearly lost each other but
no luck! The maps you provided allowed us to explore so much locally and the feast
of St Jean with the giant bonfire was a great end to our round the world tour for our
 40th wedding anniversary present from our children. We will have to return again to
